It seems like yesterday, but have already passed more than 50 years since Mr. Gianfranco Paroli and his family started the production of metal parts in a small factory in Malavedo, a district of Lecco.

Since then many things have changed, but Minutex continues to work with dedication to provide you a wide assortment of items, including several patents, the result of innovative technologies and continuous research.

The expertise gained in over 20 years of production of articles for the joining of the wood, the continuous research of solutions in a perfect balance between nature and science, the products certified according to the latest European standards to ensure to all distributors, professionals and economic  as well as the user “Do It Yourself”, the right solution for every need of union. All joining systems for timber Minutex are designed and manufactured 100% in our factories in Italy, so the material is always available without stockouts. For the purpose of reliability and qualification of products, there is currently no harmonized regulations for these innovative products, all the details for structural applications have been submitted to the tests laid down by the guideline ETAG No. 015 at an Accredited Laboratory. Through the analysis of these tests has been obtained the ETA a sort of passport attests to the fulfilment of the essential requirements, which is a favourable technical assessment the suitability of the product for the intended use.

The constant updating of production standards also allowed to Minutex to get the first manufacturer in Europe, an ETA according to ETAG 015 in accordance with the new Regulation (EU) No. 305/2011 (CPR).
